Boaghie resigns from municipality
Dionisie Boaghie has resigned as head of Chisinau's municipal division in charge of housing and public utility matters, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca told Monday's ordinary meeting at the City Hall he knew neither Boaghie's reasons nor his plans for the future, pointing out that the former division head stepped down without any prompting.
Chirtoaca informed that on December 10 he appointed Boaghie's deputy Petru Gontea as division head.
Dionisie Boaghie was assigned to the office in October 2007, after being rejected by the City Council from occupying the post of deputy mayor and then of district head. Boaghie is a member of the Liberal Party, whose vice president is Mayor Chirtoaca.
