Blind woman hospitalized with severe burns
A blind woman reached the hospital on July 16 with burns caused by open fire. The Chisinau Emergency Service coordinating doctor, Anatol Proca, has told Info-Prim Neo, the 55-year-old woman, lit the oven, as the flames burnt her clothes.
She had burns on her hands and legs and was rushed to the hospital in a state called by medics “combustion shock”.
Two men have been found on the streets in alcoholic coma, at different times. One of them, aged about 50, was lying at the intersection of Miorita and Gh. Asachi streets, as the second, aged about 55, -- at the intersection of M. Kogalniceanu and A. Pushkin streets. Both were admitted for detox.
A serious car crash occurred on the Balcani Motorway, near the village of Condrita. A Volkswagen Polo, driven by a 19-year-old man, hit a KamAZ truck frontally. Both drivers and a passenger were gravely wounded.
The last day and night, the Ambulance doctors have provided assistance after getting 705 calls.
