An explosion has happened this morning in the yard of a house located on Belinski St in Chisinau’s Buiucani district. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the General Police Commissariat’s press office Adrian Jovmir said the blast occurred at 6.40 in the yard of a former police officer, who is now retired. A car parked in the yard was partly damaged. No one was injured. Employees of the Ministry of the Interior and the Security and Information Service restricted access to the area. An investigation is under way. The Bomb Squad is trying to determine whether the explosive device was thrown from the street or put under the car.
