The cooperation operation program “Black Sea 2007-2013” announces its willingness to finance projects submitted by countries from the Black Sea area. The total budget of the program is 18 million euros, 17 million of which are offered through the European Neighborhood Instrument and over 1 million being national co-financing, Info-Prim Neo quotes a communique of the International Relations Division of the Local Public Administration Ministry. The global objective of the program is realize strong regional partnerships and to speed up the cooperation for the sustainable economic and social cooperation of the Black Sea area. The program is financed by the European Union through its Neighborhood Instrument and co-financed by the countries participating in the program. In order to be selected, the projects need to be realized in a partnership with an EU member state and with a state outside the EU, but a partner in the program. Cultural, regional and environment-related programs are eligible, if they entail using from 50,00 to 700,000 euros and run for 2 years at most.
