Biomass gas to be produced in Tarigrad village
Bioenergagro LTD based in Tarigrad, Drochia district, will run an industrial park 13.49 hectares large. The minister of economy Valeriu Lazar explained that the company would further implement a biogas production project in cooperation with foreign investor Zorg Ucraina LTD, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the minister, a biomass gas plant with a capacity of over 16 million cube meters per year should be built in Tarigrad village. The investment is estimated at 25.3 million euros, with Bioenergagro supplying 700,000.
The project will be implemented in 3 steps and will create 100 jobs. Moreover, 30 people will be involved in growing the biomass for gas production. Bioenergagro has already attracted the interest of 8 economic agents as park’s manager and is open to other potential collaborators.
The infrastructure will be built by Zorg Ucraina. The company belongs to Liseus Holding LTD from Cyprus, the main sponsor being Swiss investor Mercando Green Technology AG.
The government relieved Bioenergagro and the potential users of the industrial park of paying the losses caused by the exclusion of the 13.49 hectares from the farming lands.
