Cimislia town on August 11 will host the second national exhibition fair of sheep and goats. Pintilii Bulgaru, chairman of the Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders, has told IPN that the best and most beautiful sheep and goats bred in Moldova will be presented at this exhibition.
The fair will involve exhibitors from 15 districts of the country, including sheep and goat breeders, companies that produce and process different products in this field. Every district will have by a cultural program with folk songs, ballads, poems and dances.
The persons who will present the best nanny goat, billy goat and kid, the best ewe, ram and lamb as well as the best goat’s cheese and sheep cheese will be awarded. There will be staged a contest to choose the best shepherd’s food.
The first national exhibition fair of sheep and goats took place in Orhei in 2012.
