The Summer Berry Fair will be held in the park of the Metropolitan Cathedral in central Chisinau on July 2. The second event of the kind will bring together growers of gooseberry, blackberry, blackcurrant and raspberry from all the areas of the country, including the Transnistrian region, IPN reports.

Even organizer K Lumea Association said the farmers will have personalized stalls where there will be shown where the berries were brought from. These will be sold at producer prices.

The team of K Lumea will prepare pancakes that will be served with locally grown berries and honey. Berry painting workshops will be staged for kids.

The event will take place near the fountain, entrance from Pushkin St, starting at 10am. Access to the fair is free.
