The social benefits distributed through the agency of post offices are suspended if they are not collected during 12 consecutive months. The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) calls on the recipients who didn’t get the social benefits for different reasons to go to post offices in any locality, regardless of the place of stay, and receive the non-collected sums, IPN reports.
For the convenience of recipients, the CNAS suggests asking the payment service providers, like the banks and post offices, to associate the main benefit (for example, old-age pension) with other types of social welfare they receive (monthly state allocations, allowances).
On December 4, the CNAS financed the pensions and social benefits for the recipients who possess bank cards. The transferred amount of 1.538 billion lei will be distributed after the payment service providers process the payments within the government e-payment gateway MPay.
