Beer and wine will be allowed in Chisinau's central plaza on City Day
On Chisinau's Saint Patron Day, vendors in the will be allowed to sell beer and wine, but in plastic cups and containers only.
Chisinau police chief Silviu Musuc told the ordinary City Hall's meeting on Monday that it was decided to allow sale of alcohol, except for spirits.
Stefan cel Mare Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic on the segment between the streets Mihai Viteazul and Ismail. It hasn't been yet decided whether to install a protection fence around the Great National Assembly Square or to cordon it off with police forces. Those willing to attend the concert inside the enclosed area in the Square will have access through 10 security gates, where they will be checked for firearms, knifes and liquors.
Ambulances will be dispatched to the most crowded places.
