The boarding school No. 3 situated in Buiucani district of Chisinau received 50 kilograms of honey from the Beekeepers Association of Moldova, IPN reports. The honey was donated on the closing of the honey exhibition staged on the occasion of the Beekeepers Day.

According to the Association’s chairman Stefan Condratiuc, the donation was made on the initiative of a group of beekeepers. “We are glad to be able to make something for these children,” he stated.

In the exhibition closing event, Soldanesti beekeeper Stefan Sandac received a mobile laboratory for processing honey from the Austrian Beekeeping Association. The beekeeper said that this donation will help him to considerably develop his business.

Attending the event, Minister of Agriculture Vasile Bumacov assured the farmers that the Ministry will offer assistance to them, including in attracting foreign funds.
