The MPs of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists asked in Parliament to constitute a commission of inquiry into the method and conditions of purchasing natural gas for consumers in the Republic of Moldova. The Communists and Socialists requested to include a draft decision to this effect into the agenda of the sitting, but the proposal wasn’t accepted, IPN reports.
BCS MP Vasile Bolea said that almost 400 million lei was unjustifiably spent owing to the authorities’ negligence. “A sum of 1.7 billion lei was transferred from the state budget to Energocom for the capitalization of this enterprise. We don’t know what will happen next,” stated the MP, noting it’s not clear why that show was necessary when they returned to the point at which the provision of the country with natural gas started.
The BCS’s proposal was supported by only 32 MPs.
The Communist and Socialist MPs asked again to question Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița so as to find out what measures are taken by the Government to subsidize business entities and to back the citizens following the declaring of the state of emergency. The proposal wasn’t backed.
