BCS announces a number of actions with regard to Cabinet for current parliamentary session

During the current parliamentary session, the group of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS) will initiate a number of actions with regard to the Cabinet. The BCS said that it prepared a number of bills and hopes that the right to legislative initiative will be respected, IPN reports.

At the beginning of the first sitting of the autumn session, the head of the BCS group Vlad Batrîncea, Deputy Speaker, said that the previous session the opposition put forward tens of draft legislative proposals, but the parliamentary  majority didn’t support them. The opposition also made tens of approaches to question members of the Cabinet and representatives of other state institutions, but none of these was supported.

According to him, the current session the BCS group will use any legal occasion for the Cabinet to report to Parliament. They prepared several tens of social and economic initiatives. “We hope there will be a healthy climate and the opposition and the MPs with differing opinions will stop being labeled in an inappropriate, uninspired way, as earlier. The current Parliament works for the third year and will soon need to answer citizens’ questions,” said the Deputy Speaker.

Vlad Batrîncea voiced hope that the current session will show that there are yet ways and solutions for improving the Parliament’s work.

Under the Parliament’s Regulations, the legislative body has two ordinary sessions a year.
