BCR branch in Chisinau has new executive president

Juan Luis Martin Ortigosa was named as executive director of the branch of Banca Comerciala Romana - Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR) in Chisinau. Former director Sorin Andrei completed his duties on September 9.

Tamara Bolduratu, marketing specialist at BCR Chisinau, has told IPN that the new president will take up his duties immediately after he is officially registered at the State Registration Chamber. The procedure can last for several weeks. It’s not yet known if the personnel will be modified. With a 24-year experience of working in the banking system, Martin Ortigosa was the perfect candidate for managing BCR Chisinau.

In a communiqué, the bank says the new president will concentrate his efforts on supporting the active foreign investors and the investors interested in extending their operations into Moldova.

Juan Luis Martin Ortigosa, 44, until recently worked as director of the Romanian branch of Caixa Bank, which is one of the largest financial groups in Spain.
