The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) said that the specifications of the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) are unfounded, Info-Prim Neo reports. The specifications submitted by the secretary of the TRM's Supervisory Board Anatol Dubrovschi for approval were discussed at Thursday's meeting of the BCC. The Council's president Gheorghe Gorincioi asked that the specifications be elaborated so that they include the company's new plans and a clearer budget formula.. “In times of financial crisis, Teleradio-Moldova ventures to plan large sums for repairs. In the present form, the document cannot be approved,” he said. Carmelia Albu, a member of the BCC, asked that the document should contain new projects, new programs and new conceptions.”This specifications were valid several years ago, but now they should be modified and updated.” The specifications of the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova were rejected by five votes of the seven BCC members attending and were sent back for improvement. The Council recommended the Supervisory Board to suggest broadcasting the parliamentary sittings live to Teleradio-Moldova. The decision was passed by five votes. One member abstained, while Corneliu Mihalache left the meeting hall in protest.
