The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) in its August 30 meeting selected two candidates for the vacant post of member of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova”. These are Doina Deleu and Larisa Calugaru, IPN reports.
Three applicants aspired to this post. Doina Deleu and Larisa Calugaru are former members of the Supervisory Board, with the first holding also the post of chairperson. Applicant Vitalie Raileanu gained only one vote.
Under the legislation, the BCC chooses and presents to Parliament by two candidates for each vacant post of Supervisory Board member. The legislature confirms candidates to the posts based on the proposal of two expert parliamentary commissions.
