The Government was notified of the fact that firewood from a number of forestry companies cannot be taken because of the mud and solutions are being looked for. Also, a contract for the delivery of firewood with Romania is close to being signed, IPN reports.
In a news conference, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița said that the situation at forestry companies is being examined, but it is not clear why these haven’t reported the problem when it only appeared. Only nine calls were made to the green line. “We asked for information from forestry companies that experience problems,” stated Natalia Gavrilița.
According to her, the authorities are having discussions with Romanian counterparts about the importation of a particular quantity of firewood by covering the transportation costs. A contract is to be signed soon and the firewood will be delivered later this week. Details about the quantities and other aspects will be made known after the contract is signed with the Romanian side.
