The Basarabia Nord Company from Balti is one of the biggest salami and sausages producer from the Republic of Moldova. The company announced exceptional financial reports compared to the previous year results. If in 2004 the company got 2, 5 million lei losses, obtaining in 2005 a 510 thousand lei profit. The total sales of the company during 2005 are of 147, 29 million lei. The main stockholders of Basarbia Nord joint-stock company are SRL Alco-Kaizer that holds 49, 86% of the stock and Sergiu Cernogubov as natural person – 20, 35%. The statutory capital of the company is 16, 4 million lei and the assets amount to 63 million lei. For the 11th of May 2006, Basarabia Nord announced calling the general meeting of the stockholders. At the meeting will be examined the activity of the company during the year 2005 and will be approved the last year’s income distribution mechanism.
