The commercial banks operating in Moldova reduced the work program as of March 16 in connection with the novel coronavirus pandemic. A part of the branches were closed, IPN reports.
To minimize the risk of infection among employees and customers and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Mobiasbanca – OTP Group closed some of the branches and decreased the number of employees on duty. The customers will be served as usual, but only at the available branches, which are indicated on the bank’s website.
Moldova Agroindbank currently runs ten branches and three agencies in Chisinau. The list is available on the bank’s website. All the branches situated outside the capital city will work, except for branch No. 30, between 9am and 2pm, without a meal break. Twenty-six agencies will not work.
Moldindconbank also published the list of branches and agencies that remain open. The available offices will have a reduced number of employees and a shorter work program, but will provide the whole range of bank services. The holders of cards issued by Moldindconbank can further perform bank operations at a distance through the online services Web Banking, Mobile Banking or Direct Transfer.
