The depositors born till 1954, who lodged indexation application till June 2008, can take their first tranche of money from any branch of “Banca de Economii”, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Central Commission for Indexing Deposits. At the same time, paying the indexations to the depositors recorded as of May 1 2008 goes on. The Commission informs the depositors born till 1961 may apply for the indexations to be paid in off inm 2009. The applications are expected till December 30, 2008. At the first stage, the depositors receive by 1,000 lei according to the ratio 1 leu:1 Soviet ruble. The cumulative balance will be paid according to the ratio 1 leu:2.5 Soviet rubles, but only after all the depositors that had accounts in the Soviet Sberbank until 1992 take the first 1,000 rubbles indexed.
