The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) submitted a challenge to the Central Election Commotion, saying the head of polling place No. 24 situated in the municipality of Balti does not allow the students to vote on the basis of the statement on own responsibility, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the party. The PLDM requests the central electoral authority to warn all the electoral bureaus of the polling places about the inadmissibility of violating the students’ right to vote in accordance with the new amendments made to the Election Code. Under Article 84, paragraph 2 of the Election Code, the students can vote in the settlement were they study on the basis of the identity card and the student’s card after signing a statement on own responsibility pledging they will not vote at other poling places
