With 100% of the votes counted in the municipality of Balti, the Our Party’s candidate Renato Usatyi polled 73.59% of the votes for the mayor of Balti, IPN reports.

The Party of Communists’ candidate Octavian Mahu won 7.97% of the vote, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party’s candidate Boris Marcoci with 4.48%. The other candidates polled about 4% and less.

In the Balti Municipal Council, the majority of seats were won by the councilors of Our Party, with 65.04% of the vote. The Party of Communists gained 9.12% of the vote, the Party of Socialists – 5.98%, the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova – Iurie Leanca” – 4.81%, the Democratic Party – 4.02%, the Liberal Democratic Party – 3.78%, the Liberal Party 2.49%, while the rest less than 2%.
