The municipality of Balti has two new deputy mayors. These are: Gennady Shmulschii and Nicolai Grigorishin, who were chosen from among the municipal councilors of the Political Party “Our Party” on February 8, IPN reports.

Nicolai Grigorishin will be in charge of the management of municipal property, land relations, architecture and constructions and municipal communal services. Gennady Shmulschii will be responsible for finances and economy, trade, public food and services, public procurement and external economic relations.

The councilors also took cognizance of the resignation tendered by deputy mayor Leonid Babii, who announced his decision earlier this week. Deputy mayor Igor Sheremet resigned on January 2.
