The Balti University Legal Clinic opened a Pro-European Resource Center, where anyone interested can obtain information about Moldova's European path. The Center was opened as part ofthe national campaign Europe For You and offers legal assistance resources in the field of European law and human rights protection in Moldova.

Olesea Tabarcea, manager of the University Legal Clinic, told IPN that the Center has an up-to-date library with books from all areas of law, but mainly European international law, including the newest editions of works on European law and European values and various treatises by the most famous specialists.

According to Tabarcea, visitors can learn about the social life in the EU, about European values, innovations and so on. The Center also has two computers from which visitors can access even more information about the EU.

“Anyone in need of legal assistance related to the violation of rights is welcome and can ask for help from the staff of the Legal Clinic”, said the manager.

The University Legal Clinic has carried out a vast information campaign about European integration in 5 northern districts and found our that people know next to nothing about the values and priorities of the European space or even have distorted information about European integration. “That's why we decided to help them learn more about the process of European integration and what has been accomplished so far”, explained Olesea Tabarcea.

The Resource Center is hosted by the Legal Clinic in Balti, 38 Puskin Street, State University “Alecu Russo”, block 5, office 511.

The opening of the Pro-European Resource Center is part of the project “Strengthening CSOs providing community legal services and promoting the process of European integration”, financed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and FHI 360.
