Judges of the Balti Court of Appeals Friday will hold a hearing to examine the Communist Party’s appeal against the Centru district court’s decision to validate the seat of mayor of Dorin Chirtoaca. The information was confirmed by the head of the Chisinau district electoral council Iulian Balan, Info-Prim Neo reports. The decision to transfer the case to Balti was taken by the Supreme Court of Justice at the request of the PCRM, which argued that the judges in Chisinau are influenced politically. The hearing at the Balti Court of Appeals on July 8 starts at 11am.
