The Central Election Commission ordered to reprint the ballots for two polling places established in Portugal after the baggage for two of the four polls set up there was declared lost by the transporting airline, IPN reports.
The CEC said by 3,000 ballots were reprinted for the polling place No. 1/382 of Lisbon and polling place No.1/385 of Setubal (which is 44 km from Lisbon). Afterward, in concert with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Commission ensured their transportation to the two polling places.
Under the CEC decision, the diplomatic bags with ballots declared lost will be sent back to the Chisinau District Electoral Council without being opened.
