A fire started today on a balcony on the third floor of an apartment building in Chisinau’s district Buiucani. Firefighters managed to put the fire out before it could extend to other balconies and apartments.
Emergencies Inspectorate spokesperson Liliana Pușcașu told IPN the 112 call came in at around 2:45 p.m and half an hour later the firefighters deployed to the scene reported the fire as extinguished.
None was harmed and the owner lost only some belongings stored on the balcony, The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
