Baccalaureate exams will not be supervised by video cameras

The Baccalaureate exams this year will not be monitored by video cameras. The Agency for Assessment and Examination on April 25 decided that the video supervision will be possible only if the administration of education institutions submits an application to the National Exams Commission and annexes documents confirming that all the sides involved – the institution’s administration, the parents and the students – agree to such monitoring, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Education, those attending the meeting were warned that the costs for organizing graduation exams in the education system of Moldova are covered from the state budget. Consequently, the collection of money or goods from any private individual or legal entity for holding the exams is banned. At the end of the meeting, the responsible persons from districts received the examination materials based on which the national testing in the forth grades will take place from April 27. As many as 32 734 fourth graders will take final tests this session.
