The twelfth graders will take the first tests within the Baccalaureate exam simulation this week. In the municipality of Chisinau, about 5 500 students will sit such tests, IPN reports.
In the April 4 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said all the simulated Baccalaureate exams will take place this week. This is an important exercise for the students because they can thus see how the tests will look like and how the exams will be held.
Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb noted that these tests will not be graded. Afterward, the teachers will assess the complexity of the tests and, together with students, can submit suggestions for the final tests to the Ministry of Education.
Simulated tests will also be sat by ninth and fourth graders. In the municipality of Chisinau, there are about
6,300 ninth graders and approximately 7,700 fourth graders.
According to the Ministry of Education, about 22,000 students will take Baccalaureate exams at 100 centers in Moldova this year.
