Baccalaureate exam papers ready
The papers for all the exams of the Baccalaureate session were already prepared by working groups consisting of experts in the field. Now the tests are being multiplied, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Education.
Adrian Ghicov, the head of the Assessment and Examination Agency, said that a number of changes were made mainly to the Romanian language, math and foreign languages exam papers after the pre-testing. The tests of the current session meet the examination programs and the docimological requirements for final exams.
In March, the ninth and twelfth graders were given pre-tests with the aim of familiarizing the candidates with the structure and content of the exams. These pre-tests were not graded so as to allow the teachers to later have constructive discussions with the candidates, centering on the weak and strong points of the students.
The 2012 Baccalaureate session starts on June 5, when students of Russian teaching schools will take an exam in the Romanian language and literature.
As many as 29 136 candidates will take exams this year.
