BAC results available on Friday
Students who took the baccalaureate (BAC) exams will know their grades on Friday, June 29. The results will be available at the BAC examination centers.
Head of Agency for Evaluation and Examination Adrian Ghicov, told Info-Prim Neo that the students who are dissatisfied with their grades would have 48 hours to appeal, and those who did not get passing grades will be able to take the exams again in the additional session in July.
According to the Ministry of Education, 289 tests were voided, because of students’ attempts to cheat the exam. These students will have to come back next year, in order to re-take the exams.
Nine heads of the testing centers were fired during this session, for major violations in the organization of the exams; two of them received harsh penalties, and three others were even penalized for their weak activity as school headmasters. Approximately 70 assistants and 2 secretaries were also fired.
Approximately 30,000 students, spread through 159 examination centers, took the exams during the BAC session of 2012.
