Baby injured during parents’ argument

A baby was hospitalized after receiving some injuries during an argument between his parents. The Emergency Service manager-doctor Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo the girl, only 1 month and 5 days of age, suffered a brain concussion and collarbone fracture. The relative who called the ambulance said the little girl fell off the bed while her parents were quarreling. The baby is receiving medical care at Mother’s and Child’s Healthcare Center. Last night, an incident occurred at the Old People’s Asylum. A 63-year-old man got hospitalized with third-degree burns and burn shock after his TV set exploded at 22.00. An unidentified woman, aged 60, suffered a stroke near the Central Market on Tighina Street and an ambulance took her to the hospital. A 27-year-old man doing drugs suffered an overdose while another one, aged 50, fell into alcoholic coma. Both of them were taken to Sfanta Treime Hospital. Over the last 24 hours, the Emergency Service sent ambulances on 735 calls, including 98 related to viral infections, 80 trauma cases and 6 strokes.
