A boy aged 11 months, who was left in the care of his older brothers, was saved by rescuers from a lake into which he fell together with the carriage. It happened in “Boris Glavan” Park of Râșcani district of Chisinau, IPN reports.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said the baby boy remained in the care of his brothers and his sister aged 11 while their mother was at the changing cubicle. At a certain moment, the older children turned away their attention from the carriage in which the baby was sitting. This slipped into the water and turned upside down, which the child falling into the water at a distance of about 4 meters from the bank.

Rescuers saw what happened and in less than 20 seconds took the child out in an unconscious state. They resuscitated him and then handed the boy over to an ambulance team that took him to the hospital for medical care.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations calls on the grownups to cautiously supervise the children, primarily those of preschool age, and not to leave them alone or in the care of other minors.
