Baby boy dies from carbon monoxide poisoning
A boy aged only one year got poisoned with carbon monoxide in a fire in Ciutulesti village of Floresti district on October 8.
Dorina Cruc, spokeswomen for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire broke out at about 23.00. The flames destroyed objects and the roof of the house. After extinguishing the fire, the firefighters found the body of the boy inside the house.
The cause of fire is being established. It is not known yet where the parents of the child were. The case is being investigated.
A number of 1,742 fires have happened in Moldova this year. They claimed 117 lives, including of two children.
