A baby boy hurried to come into the world before reaching the hospital. He was born on Monday morning in the ambulance, IPN reports.
An ambulance was called out to a locality in Cimișlia district as a 37-year-old pregnant woman, on the 38th week of pregnancy, asked for the assistance of doctors.
The emergency medical assistance team from Mihailovca village of Cimișlia district quickly arrived at the patient's home. The woman was to give birth to the third child. She complained of abdominal pain and frequent contractions. Given the signs of labor, it was decided to urgently transport her to the hospital.
However, the woman gave birth 10 minutes later, in the ambulance. Thanks to the intervention of the emergency medical assistance team, a baby boy weighing about 3 kg was born.
Subsequently, the mother and the child were handed over to specialists of the Cimișlia District Hospital.
