A baby boy was born in his parents’ house, being helped by his father to come into this world. The case happened on Tuesday, February 19, in the suburban town of Stauceni. Doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service, Ludmila Untura, told Info-Prim Neo, that the 24-year-old woman was pregnant with her third child. The boy appeared into this world before doctors’ arrival, helped by his father, who is a doctor. The mother and the newborn were transported to the Maternity Ward no. 2 where they will spend several days. An unidentified man in his 50s was found on Igor Vieru Street at about 4 PM the same day. The man was in advanced state of drunkenness. With brain concussion, head trauma and occipital fracture, he was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. Over the past day and night, Emergency Service doctors registered 823 calls, responding to 115 cases of acute respiratory diseases, 53 cases of mumps, 49 cases of trauma and 5 brain concussions.
