A baby was born at home without the doctors' assistance. Maria Shamatailo, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that a 28-year-old woman gave birth to the third child. When the ambulance arrived, the baby of 3 kg, who was four weeks premature, was sleeping near his mother. The doctors performed the standard procedures and took the mother and child to the maternity hospital. A 44-year-old man hanged himself in his home on Izvoare St in Chisinau on Tuesday. His wife found him dead in the morning. A man aged 53 died suddenly on a bench near the Unic Department Store. Allegedly, he was suffering from a cardiovascular disease. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams dealt with 833 calls, including 60 cases of acute viral infection, 21 cases of pneumonia, 72 cases of traumas, four strokes and two heart attacks.
