Baby alive after fixed screen fells over carriage
A baby boy remained alive after a fixed screen fell over his carriage on the beach of a pond in Vatra town on Saturday afternoon.
According to sources from the Emergency Hospital, a 62-year-old woman was in the recreational area together with her nephew aged 11 months at about 21.00. At a certain moment, the moldy pillars of the screen yielded and started to come down over the carriage where the baby was. A woman who was nearby hastened to the place and practically took the weight of the screen on herself. The baby was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with mental shock and contusion of the right shoulder, while his grandmother suffered contusion of the backbone. The woman who rushed to help was taken to the same hospital with a femoral cervix fracture. The baby carriage was completely destroyed. Called to the scene, the police refused to deal with the case, saying it was a case concerning violation of security norms.
The same sources told Info-Prim Neo that a man aged 32 was admitted to the hospital with a screwdriver in his back at about 20.00 on Saturday. The man was found near a shop on Grenoble Street. He had a penetrating wound and was in a hemorrhagic shock of the second degree.
A 20-year-old man with a knife in his abdomen was hospitalized on the same day at 21.40. The incident happened on Tofan Street.
At about 15.00 on Sunday, a man aged 29 was stabbed in the abdomen on the stairs of a house located on Muncesti Street.
A tragedy happened at a dormitory on Belgrad Street at approximately 23.00. A 30-year-old woman fell from the fourth floor in unknown circumstances and died on the spot.
On Sunday, three Chisinau residents suffered acute brain stroke, while another person – myocardial arrest. Seventy-seven persons appealed to the doctor after sustaining different injuries.
