The Government instituted the commemorative cross “Participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophe”, from which 30 years have passed (1986), IPN reports.

This award will be conferred in recognition of the personal sacrifice.

The costs for making the award, certificate, substitution strap and upholstered box will total 799 750 lei. The money will be allocated from the Government’s reserve fund.
