Iurie Leanca is a politician with great potential and rich experience, who can do a lot for Moldova’s welfare, said Israeli Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman, who heads the Party “Our Home Israel”. In a message on a social networking site, the official, who is native of Chisinau, wished success to the candidate of the European People’s Party of Moldova in the October 30 presidential elections, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the PPEM.
Avigdor Liberman, who was also the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, expressed his confidence that a successful future will contribute to strengthening the relations between the two states. He said he had a telephone discussion with Iurie Leanca and thanked this for his contribution to building the Moldovan-Israeli relations, especially by implementing a visa-free regime between the two countries.
“I also said that the agreement by which over 2,000 Moldovan workers were employed in Israel, benefitting from salaries and complete social protection, was beneficial to both of the states,” wrote Liberman.
For his part, Iurie Leanca thanked Avigdor Liberman for support, saying: “We indeed did good things together for the Moldovans and I sure that we will continue to do so”.
Iurie Leanca was registered as a runner in the October 30 presidential elections and will be under No. 3 in the ballot.
