“Avia Invest” SRL fully repaid the debts of 22.6 million lei to the Civil Aviation Authority, covering also the costs for servicing the debts. The announcement was posted by the company on its official website, IPN reports.
“Consequently, the procedure for declaring “Avia Invest” insolvent and all the pressure exerted on the company should be stopped immediately,” wrote the company.
Prime Minister Ion Chicu reacted. “The investor understood that the debt to the state should be paid. We are not in July 2019 and debt rescheduling plans with the state cannot be agreed. I was informed that the debt of about 22 million lei to the Civil Aviation Authority was paid today. This is good,” he posted on Facebook.
Premier Chicu added he hopes that the company will pay the about 10 million lei overdue taxes to the budget as swiftly.
