The autumn session of Parliament was set to begin on September 4, 2017. Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu signed an order to this effect, IPN has learned from the legislature’s press service.

As of September 4, the MPs will return to their work in commissions and groups and at the local level with the people. The Parliament’s first plenary sitting of the autumn session will take place when the Standing Bureau suggests, after it drafts the agenda.

Under the Parliament’s Regulations, the autumn session begins in September and ends in December.

The legislative body’s first ordinary session of 2017 closes on July 31.
