In September, work will begin to install automated irrigation systems for green spaces in Chisinau’s in Ciocana and Buiucani sectors.

Vasile Efros, head of the urban planning and environment department, told IPN that such systems will be installed on road verges of the streets Mihail Sadoveanu and Alba Iulia. The work is planned to be completed at the end of October.

The planned budget is 1.8 million lei. Bidders can submit their offers from August 22 to September 1, with the lowest price to win.

Automated irrigation systems for green spaces were previously installed in several parks and squares in the capital, but also on Calea Orheiului Street in Râșcani sector. Currently, such irrigation systems are also installed on Dacia Boulevard’s road verges in Botanica sector.
