The General State Fiscal Inspectorate/GSFI/ announces that the payment solicitations of agricultural subventions are being paid according to the settled schedule. According to the head of GSFI, Sergiu Puscuta, until now 122 economic agents benefited from VAT subventions. MDL 8.5 were spent in this respect. The quoted source says that the payments for restituting VAT will be significantly increased in the next months, taking into consideration the season’s specific character of the agricultural activity. According to the Parliament’s law of July 21, 2006, the fiscal bodies will not calculate, until November 1, penalties for farmer who will not pay the VAT in due time. The judgment of this decision is the vulnerable situation of the agricultural economic agents in the summer period.
