Chisinau Municipal Council decided to give to private property eight plots of land on Grenoble Street to eight servicemen families, Info-Prim Neo reports. Interim head of the Architecture Department Nicon Zaporojan told the City Hall session on Wednesday, April 11 that the municipal authorities have been obliged via a judicial decision to allot several lands for the construction of private houses for the families of the servicemen. The issue on allotting the lands to the families of the servicemen has turned into a scandal generated by the fact that several municipal councillors and several civil servants were included in the list, including two internal affairs deputy ministers, Igor Bodoni and Valentina Zubic, seven municipal councillors from different factions, as well as the director of “Moldovan Village”, Tudor Tataru. Following the debates, the Chisinau Municipal Council excluded 14 persons.
