The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission will come together on July 24 to decide the actions that will be taken after August 1, after the expiry of the state of public health emergency. Prime Minister Ion Chicu said an optional 14-day self-isolation regime could be introduced for the citizens who enter Moldova, IPN reports.
“We will communicate the technical details on Friday. I hope we will be able to come up with alternative solutions in this regard,” Premier Chicu stated after the meeting of the senior state officials.
The state of public health emergency is to be lifted on July 31. Currently, the 14-day self-isolation regime is mandatory for the Moldovans who return to the country.
