Auctions to sell state-owned shares opened
State holdings in eight joint stock companies were sold at the auctions to sell public shares opened at Moldova's Stock Exchange on July 6, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Stock Exchange.
The state-owned shares in six companies – “Marculesti-Combi”, “Intreprinderea de reparatie si deservire a tehnicii”, “Constructia Modern”, “Fabrica de conserve Olanesti”, “Lactis” and “Iahni” - were sold at the initial price, for a total of 26.6 million lei. The 72.312% holding in “Marculesti-Combi” was sold for 25.9 million lei.
The other shares were sold at prices that were two times higher than the initial price. The price of the shares in the poultry farm “Gaoace” rose about five times.
The auctions are held by the Ministry of Economy's Public Property Agency. They will last by July 9.
