A 38-year-old Turkish citizen was caught at the Chisinau International Airport trying to illegally transport 300 packages of tobacco supplies, IPN reports.
The discovery was made by customs officers and border guards during security screening of passengers traveling to Istanbul.
The goods were hidden in the man's luggage and were to be transported illegally.
The authorities confiscated the excise goods, and the person is to be punished for contravention.
