At least 200 companies to take part in “Made in Moldova” exhibit

About 200 companies have so far submitted applications to take part in the national exhibition “Made in Moldova” that will take place at Moldexpo between January 31 and February 4, Info-Prim Neo reports. The event is held under the aegis of the Government and is organized by the Chamber of Trade and Industry. According to Marina Petrov, head of the Chamber’s Exhibitions and Fairs Division, ten districts will present collective stands of local economic entities. Besides the traditional food products, beverages, textiles, furniture and consumer goods, the eleventh exhibit will also include technical-industrial products, equipment, investment projects, and services for small and medium-sized enterprises. The best exhibits will be awarded gold medals “Made in Moldova”. Representatives of business circles from Romania, Ukraine, and Belarus will also set up informational stands. The National Employment Agency will hold the Jobs Fair, while the Chamber of Trade and Industry, in concert with partners from abroad, will organize a Retail Center, the Contacts Exchange, seminars and roundtable meetings for businesses. Last year the exhibition brought together over 300 participants from different regions of the country operating in most of the sectors of the national economy. The goods were displayed on an area of over 2 400 square meters.
