Association of Young Bessarabians launches “Student in Romania” campaign
The future students of Moldova will be able to find information about the admission to Romanian universities on the new website of the Iasi-based Association of Young Bessarabians www.tineribasarabeni.com as well, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We want to share our experience and inform the Moldovan students about the admission process. We aim to make public all the activities and projects of the Romanian associations through this website,” coordinator of the Association's Media Department Dan Caranfil told a news conferee on June 9.
The website includes such sections as projects, the press, opinions, events, legislation, useful information about admission in Romania and will be updated every hour. The list of Bessarabian volunteers who already study in Romania and are ready to help the applicants will be published on the website two weeks before admission
“The “Student in Romania” campaign derived from a necessity and we launched it before admission so that the Moldovan students know the admission conditions in Romania, which are different from those in Moldova”, said the head of the Association of Young Bessarabians, Olga Bondari.
“Members of the Association of Young Bessarabians will be present at the Romanian Consulate in Chisinau
throughout the admission period to assist the Moldovan students to fill out all the necessary forms and obtain the information they need free of charge,” said Olga Bondari.
Founded in 2004, the Association of Young Bessarabians has 12 founding members, 25 members with the right to vote and includes about 500 volunteers.
