The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the pressure exerted by Russia on the Eastern Partnership countries by 437 votes for and 49 against, IPN reports.

On a social networking site, MEP Monica Macovei says that by the given resolution, the European Parliament approved the provisional coming into force of the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with Moldova immediately after it is signed.

According to Monica Macovei, the resolution enables Moldova to seek entry into the EU.
